Blackbaud has named Capital Business Solutions as its 2017 Channel Partner of the Year. The firm resells the Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT nonprofit accounting software and the Charleston, SC.-based vendor's Raiser's Edge NXT fundraising software.

The Raleigh, N.C.-based reseller was also named to Abila's president's circle for 2017. The firm carries a wide array of nonprofit accounting software including Intacct and it created SerraFund Accounting for NetSuite,

Owned by Bob Schilling, VP of sales, Capital became a Blackbaud Certified Channel Partner in 1998 and resold the company's desktop Financial Edge software until it dissolved the channel program in 2007. Blackbaud created a new program to handle the web-based Financial Edge NXT and Capital joined that channel last year.
