Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting has added 900 taxability groups to SureTax. The expansion adds to a line that includes CCH SureTax Energy and CCH SureTax Communications and turns the SureTax line into a platform the company said.

Features of the application include taxability decisions for more than 1,500 distinct product and service types, along with a customizable web portal. Multiple deployment types are available to support low-volume users up to enterprise engagements.

In a prepared statement, Mike Sanders, VP of CCH SureTax, said in a prepared statement, "The CCH SureTax platform combines best-in-class tax rates, taxability content and precise jurisdiction information, with the sophisticated logic of web-based, cloud computing."
