Surgent Accounting & Financial Education is offering an online CPE course about tax code changes in the recently eneacted Inflation Reduction Act. The course, eligible for two CPE creidts,  will be aired at various times this month.

 The American Institute of CPAs is complaining about the “plummeting level of service for the Practitioner Priority Service (PPS) telephone line” provided by the Internal Revenue Service. The AICPA also submitted several suggested improvements in a letter this week.
