His important roles include a long relationship with the company's Peachtree software line. Meyer is leaving the company next month, although his plans were not revealed.

Prior to Meyer's scheduled move, the last change was the resignation of sales SVP Paul Johnson, who left to take a job at Intuit.

Meyer joined Sage in 1999 when that company purchased Peachtree where he worked starting in 1991. Meyer held some important positions with Sage, including president of Sage Software from September 2000 to May 2007. He was president of the industry and specialized industry solutions from May 2007 through May 2009 and moved into his current position after that.
