Another Sage Exec Leaving
Turnover in the executive ranks of Sage North America is continuing with the latest ready to depart Doug Meyer, who has held a variety of executive positions with Sage/Best Software since 1999. His important roles include a long relationship with the company's Peachtree software line. Meyer is leaving the company next month, although his plans were not revealed.
It's the latest departure at Sage as Pascal Houillon, who had been CEO of Sage France, gets ready to take over the helm as CEO of Sage North America. Houillon is taking over from Sue Swenson who is retiring later this year. Prior to Meyer's scheduled move, the last change was the resignation of sales SVP Paul Johnson, who left to take a job at Intuit.
