Intuit has increased prices for its QuickBooks Online software. The steepest increase is coming with QB Advanced, a mid-market product, which raises 11.1 percent to a $200-monthly base from a $180-monthly base for existing customers who pay directly for their subscriptions.
That change will be effective on August 1, at the same time as an increase in QBO Plus to $85 from a $80-monthly base. The cost of two other editions also increase by five dollars per month. The price of Simple Start will rise to $30 and Essentials to $55, both effective for existing users on July 1.
On July 18, increases will be implemented for new subscriptions, upgrades or downgrades.
The annual base for subscriptions for Advanced increases to $2,160 from $1,940, up 11.3 percent. The price rises to $915 from $860 for QBO Plus; to $590 from $504 for Essentials; and to $320 from $270 for Simple Start.
