Paychex has introduced Paychex Voice Assist this month. The new artificial intelligence-based system enables administrators to run payroll through Google Assistant-compatible devices.
With the new capability, the system can be run via the sound of a verified user’s voice. Users can on start a pay period, act on one in process, make adjustments, reviewe totals, and submitting payroll for processing.
Devices that can be utilized include phones, smartwatches, speakers and smart displays. Voice Assist has built-in verification for user authentication
Paychex sees a wide possible use for this as an analysis of Paychex Flex user data found that more of a third of payroll administrators have submitted payroll from multiple locations within one-month period.
