Iris Buys Thomson’s MyPay

Dollar sign Iris Ltd., which has acquired practice and document management  packages in the United States in the last three years has acqured MyPay Solutions from Thomson Reuters. Terms were not disclosed.

MyPay offers outsourced payroll and associated banking and tax services via CPA firms to small and medium-sized U.S.  businesses.

That adds MyPay to a group of companies purchased by Iris, which is based in the United Kingdom, that serve American tax and accounting firms. These include practice management businesses, AccountantsWorld, Practice (formerly Practice Engine) and Star, along with document management systems Doc-It and Conac.

Iris said it is continuing to invest in services that deliver payroll whether software, white labelled services or a hybrid model.
