Latam Leads Thomson Tax, Accting

dollars blue green The Latin American business of Thomson Tax & Accounting grew by 25 percent during the third quarter ended September 30.

The segment grew 7 percent to $190 million from $177 million in last year’s corresponding period, the company said recently. That was an increase of 8 percent in constant currency and 9 percent organically

 It also cited strong growth from the UltraTax business, with transaction revenue rising 12 percent, all organic, driven by UltraTax and training revenue.

Revenue for the most recently ended period was $1.57 billion, up 3 percent, 5 percent in constant currency and 6 percent organically from $1.53 billion a. year ago.
