Thomson Reuters has unveiled a developer portal that will give software developers the ability to link their software to Thomson’s, a move the company termed a “fundamental shift” in its approach to software. The company said it is offering access to more than 100 application programming interfaces. The move is designed to enable tax, legal, risk and fraud professionals to integrate Thomson’s products with their workflows.
“Our new Developer Portal represents a fundamental shift in how we empower our customers and partners," Kirat Sekhon, Thomson’s interim head of engineering said in a prepared statement.
Thomson said the portal will have access to a wide range of resources, including content from Checkpoint and Westlaw with Checkpoint Search and Westlaw US Litigation Analytics, also providing analytics.
