New staff management and scheduling capabilities have been added to the Staff Management Module of Thomson Reuters' Practice CS. Additional features include an Assignments tab that enables users to easily assign work to specific staff members by dragging and dropping unassigned, scheduled items.
There are also enhancements to the module to give managers more precise control over scheduling and prioritizing assignments. Managers can view critical staff information and incorporate increased automation into common tasks such as scheduling projects, meetings and conference calls. There are also new Schedules and Schedule Items tabs that enable users to drag and drop schedule items onto staff calendars to have the application automatically schedule them for that specific time. The tab also enables users to schedule a particular item for multiple dates and times.
Among other additions are Urgent tabs that allow users to define specific schedule items as urgent and an Infotips function for viewing important staff information including qualifications and availability for a specific schedule item.
