Armanino Consulting Revs Up 62 Percent

Chris Moore, Armanino ConsultingArmanino Consulting had very strong year in 2011 as the organization's revenue rose by 62 percent over 2010 results. The financial software vendor cited organic growth along with acquisitions and strengthening of some product lines as factors behind the $28.7 million in revenue last year, a significant jump from $17.2 million in 2010.

"It's from doing the right things," says Chris Moore, partner in charge of the Dynamics practice at the consulting arm of Armanino McKenna. He listed several factors in the performance. "Over the last couple of years, we have seen a pent up demand for systems integration and customization for our customers," he says. The information about revenue was submitted for the selection of Top 100 resellers by the Progressive Accountant's sister publication, Bob Scotts Insights (www.bobscottsinsights.com). That selection will be published later this month. The percentage change marked the consulting group as one of the faster growing resellers in the mid-market financial software space.

Armanino carries Dynamics AX/GP, Intacct and Sage Fund Accounting. Outside of the financial software arena, it also handles Dynamics CRM, Adaptive's Planning's online budgeting and forecasting application, and the QlikView business intelligence software platform. And on the Microsoft side, the release of Dynamics AX 2012 made that product more competitive with Oracle and SAP, leading to new deals for AX which is at the high end of the Dynamics line.

Also among factors boosting 2011 revenue was the expansion of the firm's QlikView practice via the acquisition of Factory Information Management Solutions. QlikView is a business intelligence product line. Armanino also acquired in February 2011, Gateway Solutions, a CRM reseller and that helped expand the Dynamics CRM practice. It also became a Certified Partner for Axonom, enabling it to sell that company's CRM enhancement, PowerTrak.

The firm did not just grow its revenue. It won important awards in the field last year. It was named to the Microsoft Dynamics Presidents' Club and was selected as Partner of the Year by Adaptive Planning while two of its clients received customer excellence awards from Microsoft last year. A third customer received a similar honor from Microsoft in 2012.
