Thomson Reuters has added tax and accounting reference eBook titles to its ProView platform. ProView is a free app that is currently available from the Apple App Store for the iPad. Public beta versions are available for Android at Google Play and the Amazon Appstore and for Windows and Mac laptops and desktops at Thomson Reuters ProView.
Thomson has made several eBooks available under the RIA and Quickfinder brands. These are the 1040 Quickfinder Handbook, 1040 Quickfinder Handbook -- RTRP, Small Business Quickfinder Handbook, Premium Quickfinder Handbook, All States Quickfinder Handbook and RIA Federal Tax Handbook.
ProView users can receive new versions of eBooks as they are released. They are able to add personal notes, highlights and bookmarks that automatically synchronize to other devices running ProView and transfer to the next downloaded edition of the eBook. Users can also make personal changes while offline that are automatically updated and securely saved as soon as connectivity is restored
