Intuit Retools ProAdvisor Program

IntuitIntuit has added a new point system and a new tier to its QuickBooks ProAdvisor Program. The company recently rolled out the updated system, which is built into QuickBooks Online Accountant.

Points are now given for all current and new QuickBooks accounting, self-employed and payroll clients. Previously, they were based solely on the number of QBO clients and certifications. Points will be aggregated for accountants and bookkeepers, who are part of a team under the same QuickBooks Online Accountant firm, as different actions are completed.

Point balances qualify advisors for one of four tiers—Silver, Gold, Platinum (formerly Diamond) and Elite. Other benefits include special discounts for Constant Contact for ProAdvisors and Squarespace. Additionally, Gold, Silver and Elite members have access to the new ProAdvisor Merchandise. Advisors also have access to the new Intuit Marketing Hub. The ProAdvisor Program is available for free to accounting professionals using QBO Accountant.
