Voorheis has been with Crowe since September 1999, holding a number of jobs in the area of security. He was previously director of IT and information security from August 2015 through last month.

Crowe said during Voorheis’ tenure, the information security and privacy team has grown to almost 30 professionals. In his new role, Voorheis  is responsible for the Crowe information security and privacy functions, developing information security strategy, defining information security requirements and practices and interfacing with clients to address security-related inquiries. 

A 26-year Crowe veteran Strammello succeeds Fred Bauters, who is retiring in April. Strammello's responsibilities include oversight of the firm’s general counsel and audit quality functions, as well as management of the firm’s enterprise risk management program.
