Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting has introduced Audit Data Analytics Resources, a library of tools that will be regularly updated. The offering is free to existing clients and potential users.
In a prepared statement, the company said the resources are designed “to help audit practitioners in tax and accounting firms move away from a traditional data sampling approach when conducting audit engagements and toward analyzing all client transactions in real time.”
The library features blog posts from subject matter experts, video testimonials from audit professionals utilizing data analytics and tips optimizing the use of the TeamMate Analytics audit test application.
TeamMate Analytics, accessed from within Microsoft Excel, offers more than 150 data analysis tools and supports analytic testing with configurable modules that automate audit tests. Its Expert Analyzer tool provides multi-step analysis with a graphical workflow designer that supports multiple datasets and imports directly from a PDF.
