Rippling Expands EOR Program 2
Rippling has expanded its Employer of Record program to eight new countries. The change is part of the latest monthly release of the office application.
With EOR, a user can establish a legal entity in a country outside the United States, giving the user the ability to hire and pay employees in other countries. The latest additions are Colombia, Costa Rica, Denmark, Israel, New Zealand, the Philippines, Switzerland and Turkey.
In addition, Rippling is providing hourly workers with a weekly break down of pay on paystubs so they can see hours worked, including overtime, for each of the weeks included in the pay period.
Users can now down payroll comparison data as a CSV file. Rippling says it has also provided more efficient time-entry CSV imports for Time an Attendance since users can automatically reconcile timestamps based on the employee’s timezone and
filter down to a specific set of imported entries and delete only those

Payments software company Lockstep has raised $10 million in Series A funding. Founded in 2019, Lockstep offers cloud-based AR and AP processing.
ADP Payroll Revs Down Slightly
Employer Services revenue, which describes the company’s payroll business fell by 1 percent for Automatic Data Processing for the second quarter ended December 31. That came as overall revenue inched up .7 percent year-over-year.
SurePayroll, Zoho Integrate
SurePayroll, which is owned by Paychex, is now connected with Zoho Books. The partnership, announced this week, enables users to subscribe to the integration through either of the online software products.
Intuit Promises More Expert Connections
Intuit, which has become an increasingly important employer of accountants and tax preparers, will continue to expand contact between experts and its customers, CEO Sasan Goodarzi said this month. Paychex revenue was off 1 percent for the second quarter ended November 30. While employment is still down, the company saw no further deterioration from the recent surges in Covid-19 cases and it was buoyed by small business starts.

Anduin has introduced the Intelligence-Based Billing platform for accounting firms. The software company said recently the applications utilizes artificial intelligence to improve the accounts receivable project.
RSM Survey: Business Optimism Down
The RSM US Middle Market Business Index showed an improvement optimism about the future dropped because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. However, in November a nearly half of businesses reported improvement in revenue and earnings.
TeamMate Analytics Enhanced
Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting has introduced enhancements to TeamMate Analytics, which is used by internal and external auditors. Among new features are enhancements to the Expert Analyzer, which is utilized to append data to combine multiple data files.
Armanino Named Top Intacct Reseller
Accounting firm Armanino has been named Sage Intacct Partner of the Year. The firm’s honor was among several given to accounting firms as Sage announced awards for its Sage product lines, such as S100 and X3, and Intacct, its native cloud software.
