Kevin Cumley has retired from the accounting profession after leading the accountants program for Sage Intacct from September 2014 through August this year. The announcement was made this week in a LinkedIn post
Cumley spent 35 years in the accounting profession, which included more than 22 years with Forepoint, a Helena, Mont.-based value-added reseller he founded in January 1992. Active with the membership group, the Information Technology Alliance, he served as chairman of its board of directors from August 2020 through August 2014.
Cumla was VP of strategic alliances for the former Abila from August 2011 through August 2014.

He is known throughout the industry for his depth of knowledge and for his high journalistic standards. He has a strong background in computer journalism as an editor with two former trade publications, Computer+Software News and MIS Week and spent several years with weekly and daily newspapers in Morris County New Jersey prior to that.
