KraftCPAs has named Chris Hight a chief manager effective November 1. He succeeds Vic Alexander who will transition to an of-counsel role starting Nov. 1, 2025.
Alexander has spent 43 years with the firm, 31 of them as chief manager. He will continue litigation work Kraft Analytics, an affiliate of KraftCPAs that focuses on valuation, forensics, and transaction advisory services.
Hight has been fir the firm since 2004 and is a member of assurance services department, with responsibilities including overseeing the work of engagement teams, approving final reports, and presenting reports to clients’ management teams and boards of directors.
He is a practice leader for the firm’s manufacturing/wholesale/distribution industry team and for the for the firm’s employee benefits team,
Bob Scott has provided information to the tax and accounting community since 1991, first as technology editor of Accounting Today, and from 1997 through 2009 as editor of its sister publication, Accounting Technology. He is known throughout the industry for his depth of knowledge and for his high journalistic standards. Scott has made frequent appearances as a speaker, moderator and panelist and events serving tax and accounting professionals. He has a strong background in computer journalism as an editor with two former trade publications, Computer+Software News and MIS Week and spent several years with weekly and daily newspapers in Morris County New Jersey prior to that. A graduate of Indiana University with a degree in journalism, Bob is a native of Madison, Ind
