PlanteMoran Names New CIO

 Paul Bowers, PlanteMoranPlanteMoran has hired a new chief information officer, Paul Bowers. Bowers is replacing Doug Brady, the first person at the Southfield, Mich.-based firm to hold that title. Brady, who was been with the CPA firm since 1987, is retiring.

Bowers was most recently with Troy, Mich.-based Kelly Services where he was chief architect and senior director of enterprise architecture and business solutions. Bowers joined the staffing firm in 2007 after working at Accenture from 1995 where his assignments included serving as lead architecture specialist for a global chemical company and leading technology project teams for several large American utility companies

Brady, a CPA, was the firm's CFO from 1987 to 1999. Bowers holds the Project Management Professional credential.
