Jennifer Warawa, who has led Sage's accounting program in North America, has been selected to head worldwide efforts. She took the new position this month after being involved with the Sage Accountants Networkfor several years. Warawa joined Sage in 2008 as director of partner programs, a position she held for two years.
In her new job, Warawa is responsible for go-to-market plans for applications sold in the accounting market, as well as for global partnerships and programs for accountants. She also works with Sage's accountant businesses to define products that will be designed for accountants.
Warawa served as VP and GM for Sage Accountant Solutions from October 2013 until assuming the new position this month and was VP of partner programs and channel sales from October 2011 through September 2013. She was senior director of partner programs from June 2010 through October 2011.
Bob Scott has provided information to the tax and accounting community since 1991, first as technology editor of Accounting Today, and from 1997 through 2009 as editor of its sister publication, Accounting Technology. He is known throughout the industry for his depth of knowledge and for his high journalistic standards. Scott has made frequent appearances as a speaker, moderator and panelist and events serving tax and accounting professionals. He has a strong background in computer journalism as an editor with two former trade publications, Computer+Software News and MIS Week and spent several years with weekly and daily newspapers in Morris County New Jersey prior to that.
