Block Marketing VP Leaving

Kathryn M. Collins, H&R BlockKathryn M. Collins, chief marketing and strategy officer for H&R Block, is leaving her job on January 17. The company, which drew a lot of attention with the “Get Your Taxes Won” marketing campaign last year, disclosed the change in a filing with the SEC.

Collins joined the tax preparation company  in January 2006 as VP of marketing communications and brand management. She became CMO in 2013. Her LinkedIn profile says she managed a staff of 150 associates and seasonal personnel and a $300 million operating budget.
