Thomson Reuters CEO Recovering

Jim Smith, Thomson ReutersThomson Reuters says CEO Jim Smith is expected to be released from a hospital within the next two weeks. Smith was reported to be in stable condition in a Toronto, Ont., hospital, after suffering an arrhythmia incident on February 12.

CFO Stephane Bello is handling Smith's responsibilities as well as his own. Smith, who is expected to make a full recovery, has been CEO of the Canada-based company since January 2012.
