Thacher’s group focuses primarily on SALT consulting, along with tax planning and controversy. He was executive director of EY's Seattle Global Indirect & State Tax Services Practice from November 2012 through March 2016. He was senior manager in the state and local tax practice for Deloitte’s Los Angeles, Calif., office from September 2010 through November 2012.

Klinger was a partner in BDO’s benefits and compensation group from October 2003 until joining Armanino. Before that he worked at Ernst & Young and the Circle Consulting Group.
