Eide Bailly has hired two business development directors. The Fargo, N.D.-based accounting firm has brought on board Jason Watson and Brett Cunningham to help grow its business.
Watson will be based in the Salt Lake City, Utah; Cunningham in the Denver, Colo. office.
Watson, who has an extensive background in banking, was SVP of business development of Zion Bank from September 2017 through last month. He was with Wells Fargo for 13 years and was director of business development from July 2008 through September 2017.
Cunningham came to Eide Bailly from Riveron where he worked from February 2017 through this month. He was the business development manager for the last two years four months. A CPA, he was senior portfolio accountant for BMC Investments/BLDG Management Company from January 2016 through January 2017.
Bob Scott has provided information to the tax and accounting community since 1991, first as technology editor of Accounting Today, and from 1997 through 2009 as editor of its sister publication, Accounting Technology. He is known throughout the industry for his depth of knowledge and for his high journalistic standards. Scott has made frequent appearances as a speaker, moderator and panelist and events serving tax and accounting professionals. He has a strong background in computer journalism as an editor with two former trade publications, Computer+Software News and MIS Week and spent several years with weekly and daily newspapers in Morris County New Jersey prior to that. A graduate of Indiana University with a degree in journalism, Bob is a native of Madison, Ind
