Thomson Reuters has spelled out the next modules in its cloud-based Onvio suite to reach the market. Project Manager and Trial Balance will debut for early in 2017, according to Matt Jagst, senior director of product management, for the company. The new Checkpoint Engage audit software is also built on Onvio. Jagst made his comments at the company's Synergy user conference.

With tax research, is there really an issue that is more important than making it easier to find results? Probably not, and along with the user efforts to improve navigation and user interfaces, the effort to gain quicker access to information will increasingly include support for mobile devices.
