The use of artificial intelligence will increase profits for professional service firms, Thomson Reuters has predicted a recently issued report, “Future of Professionals”.

 Redpath and Co. has named Ryan Everhart as managing director effective October 1. He will succeed Mark Gibbs, who has led the St. Paul, Minn.-based CPA firm since 2014.

 Xero has hired Ashley Grech to the newly created role of chief revenue officer. At the same time, the small business software company said chief customer officer Rachel Powell is leaving Xero after eight years.
