Ask Blue J, which utilizes generative artificial intelligence, has been introduced for tax research by Toronto, Ont.-based Blue J.
“The technology dramatically reduces the time spent searching for tax legislation and related sources,” the company said in this week’s announcement.
Blue J says it is ensuring results are reliable by providing safeguards against hallucinating responses.
Future plans for the platform include expanding on research capabilities with additional jurisdictional coverage, expanding on Ask Blue J’s drafting and review capabilities, and extending functionality with API integrations.
Susan Massey, VP of Legal Research at Blue said the Ask Blue J can reduced days needed for some research to providing answers in under a minute.
