The information on the Intuit site says the app will provide access to Tax Online client contact and tax data via the Apple device. Preparers will also be able to view the e-file status of client returns and tax return PDFs, including key client summary information. Preparers can create an account so that they can download the app when it is available.

Intuit is getting ready to release a mobile application that will enable iPhone users to utilize information from its Tax Online (formerly known as Proline Tax Online). The company's website says more information will be available mid-month.
