Intuit has moved into assisted tax preparation with its TurboTax Live Full Service. The newly introduced product enables taxpayers to connect with tax experts who will prepare and file their returns.
The system is follows several years of TurboTax Live in which taxpayers can reach tax professional via an in-product link for a limited amount of assisted.
The new service matches taxpayers with preparers based on the tax situations and states of residence and whether they speak Spanish or English.
To use the service, taxpayers upload or import tax documents and connect with the preparer via live video to review a detail summary. Returns are filed by preparers once they receive taxpayer approval.
