Georgia Preparer Gets 137 Months

Justice logoA Georgia tax preparer has been sentenced to 137 months in prison after begin convicted of conspiracy and filing fraudulent tax returns. Tyrone Thompson was the last of five defendants in the case to be sentenced. He was also ordered to pay $516,363 in restitution to the IRS. Read more...
