Automatic Data Processing has added a variety of resources about tax reform to its Accountant Connect dashboard. The payroll services company, working with Wolters Kluwer/CCH has recently made available onine courses and webcasts.

Blucora bounced back to the black for the year ended December 31. The parent of TaxAct, Blucora reported 2017 earnings of $27 million, a swing from a loss of $65.2 million in 2016 as revenue rose by 12 percent.

The Internal Revenue Service is warning taxpayers of a scam in which erroneous refunds are deposited into their accounts. The agency also is providing detailed steps about how to return the funds.
