Julie Pierce, GruntWorx Software speaks with Editor Bob Scott, The Progressive Accountant, about GruntWorx’s - scan and populate - tax automation technology that enables clients to eliminate the upfront organizational process and data entry associated with tax prep. Unlike documents that are simply scanned, GruntWorx software accepts multiple files, presenting clients with a fully searchable, PDF file that is organized in the specific order of 1040 preparation. Ms. Pierce also indicated that the software is compatible with several tax preparation products, including Drake Software, CCH ProSystem fx Tax and Thomson Reuters' UltraTax and GoSystem.
