A New Jersey CPA has been barred from practicing before the SEC after his actions put his new firm in conflicting roles with an audit client,. The SEC barred Brian Zucker, who can reapply for reinstatement after one year. The agency placed the blame for problems squarely on Zucker, but his firm, Rosenberg Rich Baker Berman & Company was censured. RRBB agreed to cease and desist from committing any violations to pay a $25,000 civil money penalty and $12,000 disgorgement.
