Executives for Automatic Data Processing received double-digit increases in compensation for the year ended. Filings with the SEC show CEO Carlos Rodriguez received $12.5 million for the year ended June 30, up 17.4 percent from the prior year.

Intuit has selected five firms as finalists for the 2018 Intuit QuickBooks Global Firm of the Future. The winner will be announced at the software company’s QuickBooks Connect conference in November.

Intuit was happy with the results of TurboTax Live, its program for linking software users to tax professionals, during the 2018 tax season. But the software company did not heavily market the offering. That will change, according to Greg Johnson the EVP who has just taken over leadership of the consumer tax business.
