The Internal Revenue Service has launched a plan to help taxpayers who may be struggling to pay their tax because of the COVID-19 pandemic.  The IRS Taxpayer Relief Initiative is designed provide flexibility in payment plans, including installment agreements.

Automatic Data Processing reported a 1-percent decline in revenue for the first quarter ended September 30. But that was better than expected and the payroll services company projected an improved outlook for the year ending June 30.

The elimination of data entry was a major emphasis at the recent Forward Together Virtual conference held by Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting. The move toward automation include the upcoming CCH Axcess Engagement, bringing the K-1 engine into the cloud this year and a release of Client Collaboration in December.
