The Internal Revenue Service and its Security Summit partners are beginning a five-part information initiative about security. The series is designed to provide information for tax professionals who are working outside their offices.

SafeSend and Thomson Reuters are working together to automate the final stages of tax return preparation. The parties said this week under their strategic agreement they will “fully streamline the process that starts at final review and sign-off of completed tax returns.”

Thomson Reuters has become the latest software company to take an annual conference virtual. Its Synergy event was scheduled to be held November 8 through 11 in aurora, Colo.
