Internal Revenue Service funding cuts have cost the country between $58 billion and $84 million less tax revenue. That is an estimate from Internal Revenue Service Advisory Council, which issued its annual report for 2018 this week.

The professional segment in Thomson Reuter’s Tax & Accounting business grew 2 percent for the third quarter ended September 30. But it grew at 5 percent in constant currencies, leading that part of the company’s business and was higher than overall revenue growth.

Thomson Reuters will provide data analytic capabilities in the Thomson Reuters Enterprise Cloud Audit Suite. At its Synergy conference this week, the company said it has partnered with Inflo Software to expand data ingestion and analytics in its suite.
