Sage has changed a number of software product names, aimed at telling customers about the company's move to the cloud. It is also a move that has drawn a grew deal of criticism from Sage's resellers

Six CPAs have been indicated in a scheme by former KMPG partners and PCAOB employees to leak confidential inspection information to the accounting firm. Participants allegely tried to freshen up audits calling them "re-reviews', destroyed documents and lied to the firm's senior management to attempt to cover up their deeds.

Intuit says the percentage of its small business customers who use an accountant's services has risen noticeably. During this week's annual shareholder meeting. CEO Brad Smith said that matchmaking also meant accounts were receiving 300 percent more leads via Intuit that they did a year ago.
