Rippling Expands EOR Program 2

Rippling has expanded its Employer of Record program to eight new countries. The change is part of the latest monthly release of the office application.
With EOR, a user can establish a legal entity in a country outside the United States, giving the user the ability to hire and pay employees in other countries. The latest additions are Colombia, Costa Rica, Denmark, Israel, New Zealand, the Philippines, Switzerland and Turkey.
In addition, Rippling is providing hourly workers with a weekly break down of pay on paystubs so they can see hours worked, including overtime, for each of the weeks included in the pay period.
Users can now down payroll comparison data as a CSV file. Rippling says it has also provided more efficient time-entry CSV imports for Time an Attendance since users can automatically reconcile timestamps based on the employee’s timezone and
filter down to a specific set of imported entries and delete only those

FYIsoft Readies New Product Suite
FYIsoft has recently hired Sev Onyshkevych as chief marketing officer. The Naples, Fla.-based company said he will be leading sales and marketing after it launches a full suite of FP&A applications on February 6.
Blucora CEO Leaves in Dispute
CEO John Clendening has resigned from Blucora, parent of TaxAct and Avantax Wealth Management, the company announced this month. Blucora’s official statement was “The departure resulted from differences in views on the scope of Mr. Clendening’s authority as CEO.”
ASL Names Managing Partner
Silicon Valley-based CPA firm Abbott, Stringham & Lynch has named Carol Wagner as managing partner this month. She succeeds Ray Scheaffer, who held the position for 15 years.
Bill.com Signs for New HQ
On the heels of its hot initial public offering, Bill.com has signed an agreement for a new corporate headquarters. The newly public payments software company has leased about 131,801 square feet of office space from US ER America Center 4 LLC for its future executive offices, according to documents filed with the SEC this week.
Avii Receives Funding
Avii says this week it has received its first external funding from Blue Diamond Capital. The software company, which makes the SaaS-based Avii Workspace platform for the tax and accounting business, did not disclose the amount.
Axcess Knowledge Coach Debuts
Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting has introduced CCH Axcess Knowledge Coach. The company notes this is the first audit module in its cloud-based Axcess Suite and is built on the ProSystem fx Knowledge Coach software.

Doc.It, which makes document management, workflow, document storage applications, has issued a new release of the Doc.It portal. The updated version provides the ability to preview PDF and Office documents in the portal.
OfficeTools Cloud Debuts
AbacusNext has launched OfficeToolsCloud, the latest of its practice management applications. The software company this week said the product is designed to enable tax and accounting firms to manage their offices from a single software package.
