Sage has launched an educational program for accounting firms. And to spread the message of the new Leadership Education of the Accounting Profession courses, Sage has begun hiring a sales force to market the program, along with all other products it offers.
"It's a very comprehensive education program," says Connie Certusi, EVP of Sage Small Business Solutions Leap, offering online courses and instruction in classrooms in 18 cities, already has 100 courses available. Certusi said these are aimed at helping firms change their business model and leverage the cloud
"There will be some accountants who are not going to want to change," Certusi acknowledges. But she said Sage research shows a significant number that want to expand business but do not know how to accomplish that.
While the sales force will be selling Leap courses, they will also being selling software—"anything we offer"—says Certusi
