AccountantsWorld Adds API to Payroll Relief

AccountantsWorld has added an open application programming interface for its Payroll Relief platform. The move this month enables the developers to integrate other applications and platforms with the payroll package.

Currently, there are two HR applications for which integrations are being completed: SwipeClock’s Workforce HUB, and Guhroo. The integration enables data to move between the AccountantsWorld product and the HR applications.

“There is an increasing demand for integration between HR and payroll services,” CEO Chandra Bhansali said about the introduction of the APIs.

Release of APIs has long been a practice of companies that sell general accounting packages.  However, it is only in the last few years that firms primarily serving accounting firms, such as Thomson Reuters and Wolters Kluwer have moved that direction,
