Concern about the corornavirus has led to the cancellation of the Zoholics Austin conference in April. Zoho said this week the decision was made because of concern about the need to bring employees from around the world to Austin, Texas, for the event, which was to start on April 27.
“We believe that this is the safest and most responsible decision for the entire Zoho community,” according to Sandy Lo, head of corporate communications, global media and analyst relations.
The company cited the impact of the coronavirus given the fact it needs “a large global employee presence” to run the show. ‘Without the support of our international teams, we cannot deliver the extensive agenda we had planned for this year's Zoholics,” Lo said.
Zoho said it will have a condensed virtual agenda likely be offered on Tuesday, April 28. It is also considering late summer in-person influencer events, possibly across several cities.
