A suburban Chicago tax preprarer has admitted taking more than $1.1 million from ten clients who gave him the money to pay federal and state tax bills.

Xero plans to acquire Syft Analytics, which makes  reporting, insights and analytics tools for  accountants, bookkeepers and small businesses. Xero will make an upfront payment of $40 million, including $10 million in Xero shares.

An analytics package that offers a variety of AI and machine learning capabilities has been introduced by Zoho.
