The Internal Revenue Service is warning of an email in which scammers use corporate officers' names to request W-2 forms and personnal information about employees. The IRS says this is the second time this particular phishing expedition has been seen.

Armanino has named two audit and three tax partners effective this month. The new partners are based in five California offices. The five are Michael Boulton, Stacie Kowalczyk, Tony Lam, Min Riblett and Sergio Salas.

Xero has named Graham Smith as its chair. The executive replaces Chris Liddell, who resigned to join the administration of president Donald Trump. Liddell told the New Zealand-based company that accepting the job required him to resign the position he has held for three years.
