Rippling Expands EOR Program 2
Rippling has expanded its Employer of Record program to eight new countries. The change is part of the latest monthly release of the office application.
With EOR, a user can establish a legal entity in a country outside the United States, giving the user the ability to hire and pay employees in other countries. The latest additions are Colombia, Costa Rica, Denmark, Israel, New Zealand, the Philippines, Switzerland and Turkey.
In addition, Rippling is providing hourly workers with a weekly break down of pay on paystubs so they can see hours worked, including overtime, for each of the weeks included in the pay period.
Users can now down payroll comparison data as a CSV file. Rippling says it has also provided more efficient time-entry CSV imports for Time an Attendance since users can automatically reconcile timestamps based on the employee’s timezone and
filter down to a specific set of imported entries and delete only those

Intuit has introduced QuickBooks Cash, a business bank account with an interest rate of 1 percent. QB Cash has no account opening fees, maintenance fees, minimum balances, overdraft fees, or other recurring fees.

Xero has established a product and technology hub in Toronto, Ont. The cloud software company said this week the first operations to there will include global payment and billing, along with data, AI and machine learning teams.

SmartVault Users Up 5 Percent in Half
The number of SmartVault users hit 21,700 on June 30 when the first half ended, parent company GetBusy said this week. That was a 5-percent increase in users of the document management system this year.
Rosenberg: Firm Revs Down or Flat
Sixty-nine precent of CPA firms surveyed mid-June by the Rosenberg Associates are reporting revenue for the year is down or flat compared to the same period in 2019. The survey involved 61 firms with average revenue of about $10 million.
SafeSend Tightens Link with Thomson
SafeSend and Thomson Reuters are working together to automate the final stages of tax return preparation. The parties said this week under their strategic agreement they will “fully streamline the process that starts at final review and sign-off of completed tax returns.”
Thomson Conference Now Virtual
