Rippling Expands EOR Program 2
Rippling has expanded its Employer of Record program to eight new countries. The change is part of the latest monthly release of the office application.
With EOR, a user can establish a legal entity in a country outside the United States, giving the user the ability to hire and pay employees in other countries. The latest additions are Colombia, Costa Rica, Denmark, Israel, New Zealand, the Philippines, Switzerland and Turkey.
In addition, Rippling is providing hourly workers with a weekly break down of pay on paystubs so they can see hours worked, including overtime, for each of the weeks included in the pay period.
Users can now down payroll comparison data as a CSV file. Rippling says it has also provided more efficient time-entry CSV imports for Time an Attendance since users can automatically reconcile timestamps based on the employee’s timezone and
filter down to a specific set of imported entries and delete only those
They can also import thousands of entries in seconds, versus 30 minutes.

Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting has announced two deals for extending its CCH product line through other vendors. It said this week it has developed an integration between making CCH Axcess Financial Prep with Xero and will offer CPE courses through OpenSesame.

Paychex has introduced real-time data integration from the Paychex General Ledger Service to QuickBooks Online. The integration enables data to flow from Paychex GLS into QBO through a link and sync tool in GLS.
Thomson Cutting Staff, Sites, Products
Thomson Reuters will reduce headcount 12 by percent, locations by 30 percent and number of product s by 11 percent by 2020. The cost reduction program was announced this week as the already downsized company held its Investors’ Day.

AccuFund has introduced V.6.02 of the AccuFund Accounting Suite, available both on-premise and in the cloud. New tools include AccuBot, which can automate several steps within the nonprofit suite.

Paychex has signed an agreement to buy Oasis Outsourcing, a privately held professional employer organization for $1.2 billion in cash. Oasis has 8,400 clients using HR applications, employee benefits, payroll administration and risk management services.
Intuit QBO Growth Outstrips Xero
Subscriber growth for Intuit’s QuickBooks Online continues to outstrip increases for smaller rival Xero. The software company reported a 40.6-percent rise in QBO subscribers when it issued its financial results this week for the first quarter ended October 30. That compares to a 32-percent-year-over-year increase for Xero’s first half ended September 30.

AccountantsWorld has introduced a mobile application Employee Portal Payroll Relief. The app provides employees with self-service capabilities to information about their payroll records. The app is available on both the iOS and Android platform.
Thomson Tax Pro Business Up
The professional segment in Thomson Reuter’s Tax & Accounting business grew 2 percent for the third quarter ended September 30. But it grew at 5 percent in constant currencies, leading that part of the company’s business and was higher than overall revenue growth.
