Rippling Expands EOR Program 2
Rippling has expanded its Employer of Record program to eight new countries. The change is part of the latest monthly release of the office application.
With EOR, a user can establish a legal entity in a country outside the United States, giving the user the ability to hire and pay employees in other countries. The latest additions are Colombia, Costa Rica, Denmark, Israel, New Zealand, the Philippines, Switzerland and Turkey.
In addition, Rippling is providing hourly workers with a weekly break down of pay on paystubs so they can see hours worked, including overtime, for each of the weeks included in the pay period.
Users can now down payroll comparison data as a CSV file. Rippling says it has also provided more efficient time-entry CSV imports for Time an Attendance since users can automatically reconcile timestamps based on the employee’s timezone and
filter down to a specific set of imported entries and delete only those
They can also import thousands of entries in seconds, versus 30 minutes.

Intuit plans to new two-week test of pricing structures and models for its QuickBooks Live monthly bookkeeping service. The company said the test, which starts next week, will also test reactions to merchandising and messaging.

Tax Professionals provided much of the profit for a smaller Thomson Reuters for the year ended December 31. The company this week reported financial results, which reflect the October spinoff of its Financial & Risk business as Refinitiv.
Intuit: QB Live Not a Competitor
Intuit says it’s not out to take business away from bookkeepers through QuickBooks Live, which is being tested this month. In a recent tall hall hosted by Joe Woodard, Rich Preece, the SVP who leads Intuit’s Small Business and Self-Employed Group, said Intuit is not becoming a competitor by proposing this service.

Tax & Accounting led Wolters Kluwer in performance for the year ended December 31. It was the only one of four divisions to register revenue growth after currency and led the other units in organic revenue and in constant currencies, as the company reported results this week.
