Rippling Expands EOR Program 2

 Rippling has expanded its Employer of Record program to eight new countries. The change is part of the latest monthly release of the office application.

With EOR, a user can establish a legal entity in a country outside the United States, giving the user the ability to hire and pay employees in other countries. The latest additions are Colombia, Costa Rica, Denmark, Israel, New Zealand, the Philippines, Switzerland and Turkey.

In addition, Rippling is providing hourly workers with a weekly break down of pay on paystubs so they can see hours worked, including overtime, for each of the weeks included in the pay period.

Users can now down payroll comparison data as a CSV file. Rippling says it has also provided more efficient time-entry CSV imports for Time an Attendance since users can automatically reconcile timestamps based on the employee’s timezone and

filter down to a specific set of imported entries and delete only those 

They can also import thousands of entries in seconds, versus 30 minutes.

QB Online Advanced Debuts

Alex Chriss, Intuit Intuit has introduced QuickBooks Online Advanced, designed for what the software calls high-growth businesses. The new product, which supports up to 25 users, has been openly discussed for two months on Intuit’s Firm of the Future website.

SEC Bars Former BDO Partners, Manager

Richard J. Betuglia, former BDO  partnerThree former BDO audit employees, involved in signing uncompleted work after the audit staff fell behind schedule, have been sanctioned by the SEC. Former senior manager Lev Nagdimov and former partners Richard J. Bertuglia and John W. Green have been barred from practicing before the agency, all found to have engaged in improper professional conducted.

Xero Raising $300M for Acquisitions

Steve Vamos, XeroOnline software vendor Xero is issuing $300 million in notes to provide funds for acquisition. The offering for 2.375 per cent guaranteed senior unsecured convertible notes due 2023, which will trade on the Singapore exchange, is expected to closed on October 4.

Excel Gets Photo Capability

ExcelMicrosoft has added a feature to Excel that enables the convert photographs of tables into Excel files. The company this week announced the Insert Data from Picture feature at its Ignite conference as part of a long list of new products and capabilities. It is also giving Excel the ability to deal with more data types.

ADP Exec Pay Up Double Digits

Carlos Rodriguez, ADPExecutives for Automatic Data Processing received double-digit increases in compensation for the year ended. Filings with the SEC show CEO Carlos Rodriguez received $12.5 million for the year ended June 30, up 17.4 percent from the prior year.
