Rippling Expands EOR Program 2
Rippling has expanded its Employer of Record program to eight new countries. The change is part of the latest monthly release of the office application.
With EOR, a user can establish a legal entity in a country outside the United States, giving the user the ability to hire and pay employees in other countries. The latest additions are Colombia, Costa Rica, Denmark, Israel, New Zealand, the Philippines, Switzerland and Turkey.
In addition, Rippling is providing hourly workers with a weekly break down of pay on paystubs so they can see hours worked, including overtime, for each of the weeks included in the pay period.
Users can now down payroll comparison data as a CSV file. Rippling says it has also provided more efficient time-entry CSV imports for Time an Attendance since users can automatically reconcile timestamps based on the employee’s timezone and
filter down to a specific set of imported entries and delete only those

Nonprofit software company AccuFund has agreed to integrate the RVI Document Imaging System with the AccuFund Accounting Suite. Under a partnership between AccuFund and Real Vision Software, customers will have access to RVI'S document imaging and storage capabilities for organizations with enterprise-level requirements.
Survey Faults Firms' Phone Manner

Most Americans are not happy with the way accounting firms handle their telephone calls. A survey of 2,234 people by audio branding specialist PH Media Group found that less than 24 percent of consumers are happy with firms in this area. PH Media says that fell below the American average of 32 per cent.

Thomson Reuters has added state-by-state implications of "pure-e-commerce" sales and service transactions to Checkpoint Catalyst. The company called the new analytical information an "essential companion" to the sales and use tax overview released last year.

Wolters Kluwer has introduced a cloud-based practice management application aimed at firms that do most of their business from October through April. The Seasonal Edition of the CCH iFirm Practice Manager is intended for businesses which employ seasonal staff and serve most of their clients during this time.

McKinstry Pay up 7.5 Percent in 2015

Compensation for Nancy McKinstry, CEO of Wolters Kluwer, was 7.5-percent higher for the year ended December 31 than in 2014. The pay figures are part of the remuneration report that is included in the publishing company's annual report, which was released last week.

Bond Street, which offers small business term loans, is giving members of ICB USA the ability to participate in the Bond Street Accounting Professional Partner Program. Xero has introduced TaxTouch, an income and tax-tracking mobile application for freelance workers. Designed for those who submit Schedule C with their tax returns the app can separate expenses by swiping right for business or left for personal ones. It is initially available on the iOS platform with an Android version to follow.
Online Products Lift Intuit Results
Sales of TurboTax Online and QuickBooks Online gave Intuit strong financial results for the second quarter ended January 31. The company says its consumer tax products gained market share, probably at the expense of tax stores, while more than 100,000 QBO subscribers were added during the three-month period.
CEO: CCH Axcess Gains at Big Firms
The CCH Axcess online suite is doing well among large accounting firms, Nancy McKinstry, CEO of Wolters Kluwer, said in a recent earnings webcast. McKinstry made her comments as the company reported results for the year ended December 31. Wolters Kluwer reported an 11-percent drop in net profit, but a 17-percent rise in operating profit and a 15-percent increase in revenue for the most recently completed year.
