Anders CPAs + Advisors has named four individuals as partners. Two each were named in the technology and tax practices.The four, Julia Deien, Jason Gotway, Jane Maddox and Sean McKenzie, are becoming partners effective in January.
The co-leader of Anders Technology and principal, Deien started her career at the firm in 2006 as a software administrator. She has experience in the Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud environments and leads a team of Microsoft Certified engineers. Deien is a treasurer for the International Association of Microsoft Channel Partners.
Gotway is co-leader of Anders Technology and joined the firm in January 2011 works with clients to enhance their technology and cybersecurity strategy. Hef requently speaks aboutpreventing cyber-attacks, educating companies and individuals on best practices for creating a secure network.
A principal in the tax practice, Maddox is leader of firm’s Real Estate and Construction group. She was a tax intern with the firm from January 2009 through April 2010 and joined it as an employee in January 2011. She also had prior experience providing interim controller support. Maddox also serves many individuals and privately held businesses in the legal industry.
McKenzie, who joined Anders in 2021, is a principal in the tax practice and works individuals and closely held businesses on tax strategies and compliance. He came to Anders from Brown, Smith and Wallace where he worked from December 2002 through August 2021 and was a principal in tax services. The firm was acquired by Armanino that year.
